Multiple letter box designed to take newspapers and packets has a square housing (1) with rearwardly and downwardly inclined letter compartments (9) formed one above the other by parallel plates (7) running diagonally between the side walls (5) which on their front side are designed in saw-tooth fashion. Each letter compartment (9) has a slightly forwardly inclined short first part (11) and a steep rearwardly inclined second part (13) of a greater length. The first part (11) of this saw-tooth design is covered by the entry flap (17) which both extend over the entire width of the housing (1). A common hinge (19) is located at the base of the saw tooth by means of which the removal flap (17) can be swung down and the entry flap (15) of the letter box below can be swung up.
