Tomography is carried out using two oppositely directed generators and along the line of intersection of the two planar ray bundles there are arranged two oppositely directed two homing multi-detectors. One of the detectors is energised by a planar ray beam directed from the other and the energisation of the generators takes place in succession by their respective detectors. Measurement of the absorption and the dispersion takes place during the irradiation by the generation through the intermediary of the planar ray beam in that irradiation by the generation through the intermediary of the planar ray beam in that the absorption is measured along the dispersion path. Evaluation takes place in known manner. Multi-detectors make use of collimators extending along a line and parallel to its reception surface. Both multi-detectors have their collimators arranged identically and their focusing line coincide with one another. Planar ray beam generator for measurement of the dispersion is arranged for sliding into collimator and provided with a lateral screen adjacent the detector. Pref. appts. includes plexiglas (RTM).
