Loudspeaker assembly for use in normal size room - has half-octagonal cabinet with woofers in upright panels and tweeters mounted externally on two cabinet corners

The woofers are mounted on the box vertical surfaces in a plane. The box horizontal cross-section is in the form a half of a regular polygon with an even number of sides. Axes of the woofers intersect at one point. Axes of phase reversing holes pass through the same intersection point and are symmetrical w.r.t. the woofers. The width of the sound walls is 1-2 times the woofer dia. The tweeters are mounted symmetrically to two woofers, outside the main box. Their axes lie in the same plane as those of the woofers and pass through the intersection point. Their distance from it is such that the woofers and tweeters operate with correct phases at the crossover frequency.
