A guying system, esp. for a lattice mast is used for a medium wave radio transmitting station, which avoids the need to split the guys into sections by means of insulators, yet avoids secondary radiation from the guy wire. The insulator chain at the point of attachment of the guy to the mast is attached to a single guy wire which is anchored to a ground insulator and earthed through a stub plus guy is a multiple of a half wavelength of the transmitter.
