Control of tape rewind in video tape recorder - uses signal derived from tape applied to disconnecting relay after delay in case of interruption

In the magnetic tape recorder sound and/or video signals are recorded on the tape, while a reading head synchronises the tape speed during forward run. When the tape end is reached, the head disconnects the forward drive and starts rewind. The recorder has a circuit which transmits, during an interruption, the signal read out by the head to a monostable multivibrator and to a disconnecting relay only when the interruption lasted longer than the multivibrator time constant.
