Suspension hook for tubes with machined ends - has contact faces matching tube end angle and relieving opening to prevent contact with tube inner edge

The load carrying hook has eyes for a chain or rope. The hook is engaged with one end of a tube and the end edges of the tube are not damaged on lifting. The load hook jaw (2) has a contact faces (34) arranged at an angle (alpha) which matches the tube and chamfer angle. The hook has a relieving opening (9) for accommodating the tube inner edge (10) without contact for preventing damage. The tensioned chain or rope is orientated along the line connecting the hook eye (6) centre to the theoretical meeting point of the jaw contact faces at the corner with the relieving opening.
