Lavatory flushing system with high water economy - has high velocity water jet nozzle in odour trap outlet channel

The flushing system is used for flushing lavatory bowls with a smell trap. The flushing system uses a greatly reduced quantity of water. A high velocity water jet is supplied to the draining channel of the lavatory bowl on flushing. This water jet extracts the water in the smell trap. The draining channel (5) of the smell trap (3) has a water jet nozzle (9) connected to a pressurised water pipe (6). The nozzle in the draining channel is directed towards draining channel outlet. Additional nozzles are arranged around the bowl rim under the rim edge cover.
