The spindle head of the machine incorporates an outer cylindrical tube. Inside this cylinder a first inner cylinder is mounted, the ends of which are covered by flanges. A second inner cylinder is mounted above the first one. A hydraulic control system is used for the axial infeed of the spindle. The piston of this system, which is mounted in the first inner cylinder moves the outer cylindrical tube by means of a piston rod. A ram is connected to a piston in the second inner cylinder. The ram can be rotated relative to the spindle. The end of the ram carries a plate. An 'L' shaped lever is mounted on this plate. One end of this lever engages with a cross slide. The other end of this lever on which a roller is mounted, engages with a camplate.
