Plastics posts for laying-out and delimiting skin runs are made of resin-modified, foamed, unplasticised, PVC having an apparent density of 0.3-0.8 g/cm3. Posts are easily carried bout on ski slopes and similar terrains; do not cause injuries or pain on impact with a skier; and have good low-temp, impact-strength without tendency to splinter or crack. They are easily dyed in conspicuous colours; have good weathering and UV-resistance; and can be mass-produced.
