The cow insemination equipment comprises a tube whose length is equal to the distance between the cervix and the vulva of the animal. At the cervical end this has anchoring devices holding it in place in the cervix. These can be fixed to the tube or detachable from it, and there can be an adjusting mechanism, typically of the screw type, between them. The devices can have one or more thickened portions, and hooked portions, and they can be in the form of detachable clips, and with a spiral outer face. Parallel to the tube there can be a further one for compressed air, the anchoring devices being expanded by this.
