The main gliding housing arm of the telescopic umbrella is parallel to the jointed ribs. These are attached to guide ribs which insure the smooth articulation and dome-like movement of rib part and facilitate the single movement mechanism without the hazard of the ribs folding upwards instead of downwards during opening and stretching of the material forming the roof of the umbrella. The usual pushing sleeve is no longer necessary. The main pushing arm with its main slider, auxiliary slider etc. as well as the parts that form the central control system are supported on the end region of the crown-side of the roof rods section via the main arm sliding sleeve.
