The vehicle for renovating bitumen road surfaces comprises a burner, scraping tools and a fresh bitumen supply. The vehicle has a fresh bitumen hopper (8) suspended on a pivot (9) at the apex of an A-Shped frmae (10). The lower ends of the frame are mounted on pivots (12) on the vehicle chassis. One or other of the pivots (12) may be disengaged, permitting tipping of the frame (10) to either side by means of a hydraulic cylinder (14). Thus the bitumen hopper (8) may be lowred to the ground for refilling. The hopper (8) has a loading chute with hydraulic actuation, permitting reloading by a tipping lorry.
