摘要
An insulation process is to effect extreme reduction of all heat losses from a house, so as to make central heating plant or night storage heaters superfluous, with min. temperature gradient, and a single control stove sufficing for evenly distributed heating of the whole building. An insulating facade for this purpose can use thick hard foam panels (1) cemented to the wall, or held by sheet metal pieces (2) screwed to it, with a cladding of heavy panels (4) or flexible profiles fixed to these. A similar system can be used for roofing. Windows can have an auxiliary pane in a rubber profile, fitted from outside so that the latter fits against the blind frame and seals the gap. This is economically installed anywhere where there is no central heating, or where renovation of old buildings involves facade renewal. In new buildings it can be used in conjunction with solar heating.
