A power system has several wind driven turbines with variable pitch aerodynamics blades. Each turbine drives the own generator. An automatic control switches in the turbines in steps according to wind conditions so that the optimum number of turbines is always in use. The control also regulates the pitch of the blades to keep the turbines at maximum efficiency at all wind conditions. The combined output of the generators is fed to a separate energy distribution system. This contains transformers and storage elements and provides energy to various outlets such as a supply network, a heating system and a transport network. It has its own electronic control to divide the energy in the most efficient way at all times.
