The split steel tie has fasteners for holding the tie assembly against the formwork carriers. The tie has two channel profiles facing each other by their webs. Between these profiles is arranged a support plate connected with screw connection for the anchoring against the formwork. Both flanges (12, 14) of the tie are parts of a channel profile made from sheet metal. The steel beam can also consist of a profile member cold rolled from sheet metal strip and welded together. Hexagonal holes (20) are punched into the webs (16) of the channel profiles (12, 14).
