摘要
In the prodn. of paper contg. mineral fibres by forming a sheet from wet pulp contg. mineral fibres, esp. rock wool fibres, with addn. of a binder by draining on a wire mesh and then drying, an anionically stabilised dispersion of a (binder) resin contg. is not 6wt. % carboxyl gps. and a water-soluble macromol. N-contg. polycationic flocculant are added to the wet pulp. The paper can be used as filter material or for the prodn. of protective clothing which is largely resistant to chemicals and heat and esp. as substrate for various coated materials, e.g., rot-resistant bitumen board, noncombustible PVC floor coverings or artificial leather. It is possible to attain satisfactory binding without blocking at elevated temp. or humidity. The paper may be hard and rigid or soft and flexible, depending on the compsn. and amt. of binder and the thickness. In an example, paper was produced from 2-5 mm. rock wool fibres, an anionic dispersion of an ethyl acrylatemethacrylic acid copolymer (17.3% carboxyl gps.) and an aq. soln. of poly-methacryloxyethyl-trimethylammonium chloride.
