Evaporator unit for heat pump - has automatically driven air blocking film closed over evaporator during deicing

The evaporator unit is used in a heat pump for a central heating system. The heat is drawn from the air and the heat pump has a deicing arrangement which uses thermal energy from the hot water for deicing purposes. The evaporator unit has an arrangement which prevents air flow (3) over the evaporator (5) during the deicing process. A cover is closed by means of a motor drive (14) over the air supply channel (1) of the evaporator unit. This closing arrangement consists of a film (11) such as that used for solar energy collectors. The film is wound on a roll (13) and it is situated between the compressor and the injection valve (9) of the evaporator.
