Outlet unit for gas turbine vertical exhaust duct - consists of inclined screen with multiple outlet tubes shielded by partitions

The outlet for a gas turbine, vertical exhaust duct consist of an inclined screen angled mounted across the top of the duct. The screen baseplate (5) has numerous openings (6) for short tubes (7) mounted in it, the tubes projecting in the direction of gas flow. Partitions, separate the tubes and the tube centrelines lie above those of the spaces the partitions form around them. Transverse partition edges are at least level with tops of rims of tubes next above. There is a space (9) between the baseplate and the bottom edge of inside partitions. The outside partitions have drainage and cooling air induction holes (10).
