The reaction time measuring system, esp. for chemical processes, provides an alerting signal at selected points after the beginning of the reaction period. The start and stop times for several time intervals of equal duration are displayed, the time intervals overlapping one another to cover a given time range with the same interval between them. Pref. the number of overlapping time intervals, the duration of each and the duration of the time intervals between them are all adjustable.
