Thermoplastics blow-moulded container with stopper or similar closure - which is connected by moulded-on link to prevent loss of closure

Mfr. of hollow thermoplastics mouldings, e.g. by blow-moulding, comprises moulding a subsidiary component e.g. a stopper or cap closure, simultaneously with the main blow-moulding, together with a connecting part linking the two together. The main moulding is pref. connected with the subsidiary component via a mechanically weak point doubling as severing notch. Both subsidiary component and connecting portion are moulded near the mould parting plane. Used for mfr. of containers such as plastics bottles for domestic detergents. The closure is moulded at the same time, together with the connecting part which ensures that the closure is not lost when the container is in use.
