Timber pulling procedure along forest path - using cable winch connecting coupling for auxiliary cables moved in carriage

The timber pulling procedure uses a cable winch at one end of a pulling aisle with a connecting coupling for auxiliary towing cables. While the cable is moving off along the drawing aisle, the connecting coupling is moved into the region of the felled tree trunks where it is fixed. The auxiliary cables are fixed to the tree trunk and then collected on the connection coupling. The connecting coupling is moved to the region of the fallen tree trunk in the forest path (3) in a carriage (13) which is supported on the ground and travels by engine force, gravity and/or cable.
