Anchor rod pilot hole drilling system - uses drill with automatic locator and adjusting screen for simultaneously drilling holes

The drilling system is used for anchors inserted in brickwork reinforced concrete, and other materials used in the construction industry. One or more holes are made in confined spaces of e.g. shafts (A), chimneys, columns, external walls (B). The drill has an automatic retainer (4) for fixed positioning before, during and after drilling. The retainer may have manual, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic control. The drill drive (1) is via similarly controlled units, and the synchronising gears (2) of drill spindles is via a rigid coupling, or conventional methods. A screen-type adjustment unit (7) allows single or simultaneous drilling of one or more holes at different distances and of different dia.
