Fixture for assembly of ball or fibre tip pens - has table surface with cam drive transmitted to separate processing points with tool holders

The handling and assembly aid is for objects made from separate parts such as fibre tip or ball pens. The assembly aid includes a table surface and a conveyor device extending on or around the table surface moving the parts to the separate processing points and with a common drive installation for the processing stations. The drive installation is a cam shaft (3) at a distance above the table surface (1) and with it's bearing between supports extending vertically from the table plate. Support rails (4) extend on either side of the cam shaft and parallel to it and running at the same distance from the table as the cam shaft, being also carried by supports. Tool holders (5) are fitted which are adjustable along the support rails to move them into the required operating position.
