A simple telescopic measurement rule typically for measuring hole depths and for probing otherwise inaccessible cavities conveniently, is presented. The rule is made up of a number, typically 5 of telescopically linked sections, each of which can be typically 20 cm in length. This can be extended as required and used conveniently to measure hole depths and the like.
