Gas fired central heating boiler - uses flue gas socket with connected cooler to collect gas condensate

The flue gas socket (2) of the boiler (1) is connected to a cooler (4) having a water pipe (14). The unit has an element (12, 13) to collect and divert flue gas condensate. The cooler has a flue pipe (5) with convection surfaces (15, 16) which are limited by an upper- and a lower collection chamber (7). The flue pipe is surrounded, via an intermediate ring chamber (9), by a housing cylinder (8), which connects the two collection chambers. The ring chamber is narrowed to a slot at the lower end. The base of the lower chamber is formed as a trough (12), with a condensate outlet, pref. a suphon (13).
