The mechanism has been developed especially for resetting digital counter rollers for counters used in the volumetric metering of liquid flows. The counter rollers are connected to their toothed driving wheels by a pawl mechanism. A pin is brought into contact with the resetting ratchet when it extends outside the periphery of the wheel. A 1 to 10 ratio link connects the number disc with its adjacent member with which it is held in contact by a spring loaded lever supporting an approximately heart-shaped cam, which contains a depression to carry the operating lever around in one direction only.
