Television tube beam deflection control circuit - has horizontal and vertical deflection signals cross coupled to improve vertical linearity

The control circuit improves the linearity of the vertical deflection in a television tube by cross coupling the horizontal and vertical timebase signals. The horizontal deflection circuit (7,11) is cross coupled with the vertical control circuit (13 to 20,23,26, 27) through separate transformers (8) and (26,27). These circuits are coupled so that alternative larger and smaller portions of the horizontal control signal are transferred to the vertical circuit during succesive periods of the vertical deflection signal.
