Connection is then made with the underside of the container so that the substance is discharged through a tube (210) to a spray nozzle at the top, which discharges into the vessel. A pump housed in a compartment alongside forces the substance through the tube. The can is covered by a flexible membrane (222) carrying a plug (225) which closes a hole through its centre. a rocker arm (220) underneath engages and disengages this plug, so that the substance inside can be discharged through the hole, then pass through a feed tube terminating above the diaphragm forming a connection with the delivery tube (210).
