The appts. is used for keeping cool equipment or goods, which have already been refrigerated. It has an outer casing consisting of heat insulating material; the material may consist of a solid foam. The foam inside the outer casing is hollowed out to receive e.g. a bottle and is suspended from a framework. The hollow is shaped to fit the external contours of the bottle. The bottle may be dropped in from the top, with the neck downwards. An insulating lid is then slid over the upturned base of the bottle. A dosing device or optic projects from the bottom of the insulating casing.
