Support for body of a patient undergoing treatment is produced by (a) placing a flat plate of hard, rigid matl. within a bag or cover, the plate being shorter than the bag, (b) injecting a foamable, rapidly hardening matl., esp. a polyurethane, into the bag, and (c) making an impression of the body of the patient.
