Fluorescent bleaching composition for detergents - prepd by grinding com-pressed filter cake contg. bleaching agents with anhydrous sodium sulphate

Grinding is effected at 20-60 degrees C in the presence of at least one and not more than 8 molar equivs. of anhydrous sodium sulphate for 10 mol. equivs. of water present in the filter cake until the crystals are reduced to an average size of about 5 mu no crystals being 15 mu; the resulting prod. is dried to remove all or some of the water present. In general the compsn. contains 2% water, and is readily sol. or dispersible in water or aqs. soap or detergent solns. The fluorescent bleaching agent is pref. disodium 4:4'-bis-(4-anilino-6-morpholino-s-triazin-2-ylamino)-2:2'-stilbe- ne-disulphonate.
