Novel oxime derivs. of polysiloxanes of general formula (SiO4/2) (SiO3/2(OR)1-x(ONCR4R5)X) (SiO2/2(OR)2-y--(ONCR4R5)y). (SiO1/2(OR)3-z(ONCR4R5)x) (R1SiO3/2)--(R1SiO2/2OR1-X(ONCR4R5)x). (R1SiO1/2(OR)1-x(ONCR4R5)x) (R1R2R3SiO1/2). where R = 1-4C alkyl, R1, R2 and R3 = H, CH3, C2H5, C6H5 or CH2:CH, halogen substd. if required, R4 and R5 = 1-4C alkyl or cyclopentamethylene, X = 0 or 1, y = 0,1 or 2, and z = 0,1,2 or 3, which contain at least 2 Si atoms, are prepd. from corresp. oxime. Alkali metal Al or Ti alcoholates can be used as catalysts if necessary. The cpds are used in vulcanisation of silicone rubbers, adhesives for bonding metal or non-metal substrates to plastics, rubbers or painted surfaces and as curing catalysts for silicone resins.
