The sowing equipment includes a self-standing assembly mounted on wheels. The seed is picked up from a hopper (8) attached to reservoir plate (3) with openings which give access to a rotating disc containing a number of distribution holes. The latter is driven by a star wheel (4). An air blast is provided by an external power source through an inlet duct (7) which circulates within the channel of an attachment plate and ejects the seeds along with an air jet for spraying along the ground. The air is supplied by a turbo motor. Seed diameters are typically in the range from 3.5 mm to 5.0mm.
