Crisps packed as curved regular stack - to reduce fragmentation due to shock during transportation

Crisps, of even size are packed in a recessed container as curved stacks, e.g. as a doughnut ring, to eliminate end shock during transportation. The crisps, formed from sliced potato, or from dried potato flour paste, are pref. curved cylindrically to provide mutual support. The container is e.g. of drawn Al, and may be covered with a lid of Al foil coated corrugated cardboard.
