Coating compsn. for industrial floors - contg. epoxide-silicone resin, alkyl silicate, amino-silane and two mineral fillers

Compsn. curable in air at room temp. for coating porous supports, e.g. concrete, rock, masonry, slates, tiles and wood, and non-porous substrates, e.g. metals and plastic materials, contains (a) 2-10 wt. % mixed epoxide/silicone resins obtained by reacting methylphenylpoly-siloxane resins of formula: (where R is H or 1-4C alkyl; a is 0.2-1.2; b is 0.5-1.2; c is 0.05-1; a+b is 0.9-1.8; and a+b+c is 0.95-2.66) with epoxide resins having an epoxide equivalent wt. of at least 170, the wt. ratio of silicone resin/epoxide resin being 0.3-1.5/1, (b) 0.1-1 wt. % 1-3C alkyl silicates and/or their partial hydrolysates, (c) 0.01-0.2 wt. % amino-silanes of formula (R'O)3S2 (CH2)nO m(CH2)tNHQ (where R1 is methyl or ethyl; Q is H or CH2CH2NH2; n is 1-4; m is 0 or 1; and t is 2 or 3), (d) 3-30 wt. % mineral fillers having an average particle diameter of 0.01-50 mu, and (e) 50-93 wt. % mineral fillers consisting of mixts. of particles with different sizes in the range 0.03-10 mm.
