The circular bench for public parks, is suitable for placing around a tree, and is built up of radiating metal lathes (4) attached to three concentric rings (3, 3', 13). It takes the form of a hollow truncated cone with uniform external base flange with soft curves to all angles and basally projecting legs. The legs (2) are of steel bar each bent into a rounded assymetric 'V' and attaching via its extremities to the lower (3, 3') two of the above rings, the rings being provided at (3) the front underside of the bench seat (5), the rear base (3') of the bench backrest (6), and at the top rear (13) of the bench backrest and the lathes (4) are of obtuse 'L' shape with a transition curve (7) in the angle and curved returns at each extremity (8) back under the bar (5) and over (9) behind the stem (6).
