The ellipsoidal solenoid has a flattening factor of the generatrix K = 0.6179 and a ratio of the radius (RL) of the working aperture to the half the length of the solenoid of RL/L =0.4423. The secondary winding of the step-down transformer is designed as a hollow formed winding surrounding the core of the step-down transformer and corresponds to the shape of the outer surface of the transformer core. A part of the secondary winding of the step-down transformer, which forms the primary winding of the field strength indicator, surround the core of the field strength indicator, on which the secondary winding of the indicator is placed.
