Variety of Spur type apple tree - bearing bright shining, uniform red fruit with slightly waxy skin and conical shape

This variety arose from the mutation of a bud on a spur type branch on a STARKING DELICIOUS apple tree, and has since been propogated by grafting. This mutation is of average vigour, and comes into bearing rapidly. It fruits regularly and heavily. It is an erect spur type tree, of average size, of which the fruit is of an outstanding from bright red colour. The skin is slightly waxy and the fruit has a slightly conical shape. The white flesh is firm, crisp, fine, juicy and sweet. Under normal conditions it will be mature between the 20th October and 15th January. In refrigerated conditions it will keep until the end of February.
