The distributor is fitted with two revolving archimedean screws which are fitted with radial knife blades. The screws are contra rotating and feed the grass onto a bucket elevator which is protected from clogging by a belt. The grass is tipped into a hopper and is fed through a sieve which allows it to fall onto a chain conveyor. The distributor may be towed behind a tractor by brackets. An end door prevents the load from falling out of the hopper when the machine has stopped.
