Syringe for quasi-simultaneous vaccination against foot and mouth disease and taking of blood samples from cattle, using the same appts., comprises a device which provokes rapid easy suction of the blood, fixed to a 5 cc. syringe which was originally intended for injections only. The device pref. consists of a spring which draws the piston of the syringe in the rearward direction. The spring is disposed between the butt of the syringe and the pusher of the piston. The two steps can be performed consecutively, reducing by half the interval time, the reactions of the animal, the fatigue of the operator and the danger. Only movements of piercing and of opening and closing the hand are performed.
