Joining device for tent poles (1) of the sort which form a pyramid shape at the top of the tent. The joining device consists of four covers (2) joined together at one point so that their axes extend across the diagonals of the lateral faces of the frustum of the pyramid (3). Internally the covers have at least one longitudinal tongue which can be compressed during the introduction of the corresponding pole. Each tongue has, at its lower extremity, an oblique cut which forms a slope to help its flexion at the time of introduction of the pole.
