Road vehicle anti theft device - uses special key acting on plungers in lock mechanism which then completes electric starting circuit

The antitheft device can be fitted into the starting of a vehicle engine system. It consists of a box (1) made of insulating material in which is fitted another body (2) at the top and bottom of which are seatings (2', 22). There is a slide (3) and a key (4) which may be received in the seating (22). The inside of the slide has notches which act upon spherical heads (5') of fingers (5). The fingers can slide and are returned upwards by springs (6). When depressed they make contact with a strip connected to the electric starting system and complete it. Withdrawal of the key opens the circuit.
