Controlling perfusion or transfusion fluid flow - by moving lever to compress flow tube at several points simultaneously

The flow of liquid in a flexible tube e.g. for blood transfusion is controlled by an air pivoted at the middle and with posts projecting from the extreme ends. A shorter arm is used to pivot the arm. Fixed posts are located adjacent to the ends of the longer arm such that fixed and movable posts are on opposite sides of the flexible tube. Pivoting the arm in one direction stretches and bends the tube around each of the posts to compress the tube at several points.
