The automatic switching circuit disconnects a circuit in an electrical installation when the power drawn by the installation passes above the level allowed by the main disconnector and reconnects the circuit once the power level has dropped again. The sum is formed of the effective power consumed by the remaining circuits in the installation (once the circuit in question has been switched out) and the power that would have been consumed by the switched out circuit if it has been connected. This sum if compared with the power allowed by the main disconnector of the installation to determine whether the switched out circuit can be switched back or not.
