A pipe fitting for installation on a flared pipe end has a seal ring support sleeve (3) with double tapers. The support sleeve is located by the internal taper of the pipe flare and the internal taper of the connector bush. A flange nut produces the axial clamping force that joins the pipe flare, the support sleeve and the connector bush. A flexible seal ring is located in the support sleeve taper that is engaged in the connector bush. A tapered pressure washer's located between tapered collar of the pipe flare. This ensures that uniform contact pressure produces a leak-proof seal.
