The multi-cell tool-box may be used to contain drill bits (P), and stores each bit in a separate individually accessible compartment (A). The unit may be of solid cylindrical form (10) with blind parallel holes (A) each contg. a bit (P). A rotatable cover plate (16) fits over the top. The cover plate or disc (16) has two holes (F, F") on a common radius, giving access to individual holes. The holes are arranged in two concentric circles about the cylinder axis, and are disposed at regular intervals on the circular paths. The hole (A') on the outer circle are staggered relative to those (A") on the inner circle i.e. on different cylinder radii, so that the cover (16) gives access to one hole at a time.
