The agent in order to influence the rheological properties of the bitumen and of the bituminous mass

The rheological properties of bitumen and bituminous compositions are modified by addition of from 0.1 to 5% by weight of at least one compound of the formula I, in which the symbols are as defined in Claim 1. These compounds engage in the colloid-chemical behaviour of the bitumen, modifying the peptisation state of the micelle-forming asphaltenes. In the case of bitumen containing an effective amount of such compounds, the viscosity/temperature behaviour is modified. The modification of the micelle structure achieves homogenisation and stabilisation. IMAGE
