Waterproofing magnesium oxychloride cement by adding urea - for use in floor covering grinding and abrasive discs, building panels and as mine shaft sealant (NL 4.4.78)

Waterproof magnesium oxychloride cement (Sore's cement) contains urea to make it waterproof, and pref. also contains puzzolans as a filler. The cement is waterproof and does not form blisters of efflorescence. The amt. of urea added to the cement depends on the application involved, pref. 3-5 wt. %. The mortar contg. the urea has a high degree of plasticity, and is easily worked. It can contain the conventional fillers, e.g. sawdust or sand. Pref. 10-30 wt. % of the fillers consist of pozzolana. The urea can be added in any manner to the cement.
