Additive partic. for mortar and concrete, comprises pref. 10-35, esp. 18-26 pts. wt. alkali(ne earth) metal lignosulphonate, pref. 3-15, esp. 6-10 pts. wt. an alkali metal salt of a hydroxylated organic acid, pref. 10-35, esp. 18-26 pts. wt. ester, pref. 8-30, esp. 15-25 pts. Wt. melamine-formaldehyde condensate with sulphonic gps. and pref. 10-30, esp. 15-25 pts. wt. amine deriv. The additive improves workability and mechanical strength of the cement compsns. and also improves homogeinity as indicated by low sweating and attractive appearance of the hardened cement.
