摘要
Al alloy wires consisting of 0.30-0.80% Mg, 0.30-0.70% Si, 0.15-0.35% Fe and =0.2% Cu, bal Al, are made from a cast billet hot rolled at =450 degrees C by rapidly cooling to =150 degrees C, drawing at 110-180 degrees C and heat treatment. The drawing pref. corresponds to an elongation expressed at S-s/S x 100 of =350%. Used for cables for aerial transport of energy and bare or insulated cables used in electrotechnology. The addn. of the copper to the alloy increases ther tensile strength, when combined with the warm drawing at temp. at which the pptn of Mg2Si is low.
